Film production in Iran greatly advanced: Lebanese producer

A Lebanese producer has hailed the quality of Iranian films, saying the production of features and animations in Iran has greatly advanced.

“The production of films in Iran, whether features or animations, has greatly advanced, and we have seen many brilliant Iranian films,” Rabie Harb said.

He noted that the Lebanese audience likes Iranian works, especially TV series, as they are based on new, purposeful ideas.

Harb, who is also a representative of Al-Iman TV that is taking part in this year’s edition of the Fajr Film Market, said the TV channel aims to buy new films during the market.

He hailed the market for providing a good opportunity for production companies to meet and promote their products.

The Fajr Film Market opened on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 41st edition of the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Iran.

The 41st FIFF kicked off on February 1 and will run until February 11.
